Review: I bought this book wanting to learn more about real estate. Towards the end of the book, I learned maybe 2-3 good pieces of advice. I was disappointed in this book because I thought it would be more of a roadmap for new investors. If you’re looking to get into real estate and know nothing, I highly suggest any book by Brandon Turner from Bigger Pockets. He is more of a conservative investor, but he gives you that roadmap to success and how to spot deals (even though it’s subjective to every investor). Don’t waste your time or money on this book. Manny is focused on his own money and flaunting his wealth where Brandon actually is genuine and wants to help others. Good luck to new investors!

Review: The biggest takeaway I had from this book is Manny’s advice to keep moving and not stay complacent. Don’t settle for mild success and hold your properties too long. Sell them and move on to the next deal. Never stop working and hustling to find the next deal. Sitting on a few properties will cap your wealth. I felt like the entire book was written for me. Manny is great at talking directly to you in a simple way that anyone can relate. Excellent book. I wish I had read this 5 years ago.

Review: Don't write too many reviews but I have seen Manny in his Youtube videos and at first, thought was going to be the same pitch of someone preaching Real Estate with a flashy car. But after watching numerous videos and seeing he knew what he was talking about and explained commercial investment correctly that I bought his book. Being in Houston I know the deal he mentions that he made money on. I have learned a lot from this book and helped me realize I was not looking at office buildings the way he is and that is why he has made so much money from them. I dumped all my SFR and focusing on being a contrarian. I have always gone against the masses and Manny's book helped me to see what new market I should focus on. Way to go Manny. Love to see someone go from nothing to multi-millionaire.

Review: The book isn't informative: the book isn't entertaining. It is rather a boring read. It lacks inspiration and doesn't convey the knowledge necessary or required so that the reader can mimic or imitate the author in the office or out of the office.Yes, it tells his story, but it isn't unique or motivational.

Review: Just finished reading Contrarian Playbook - true to its title, this book gives you a proven layout, or starting point, on real estate investing. Covers all the major classes of real estate in a very straight forward approach. It also gives the reader a good guideline to follow on due diligence for different property classes. Review: Very dense with information on all kinds of commercial and residential real estate. Manny Khoshbin gives away his tips and tricks to finding the best properties for beginners, intermediates, and experts. He really breaks down all the components of real estate into easy-to-understand terms. This book is short, sweet, and information dense. I learned a ton from it, and it included very little to no fluff.
